What clients are saying…

About me

In our work together, I will strive to build a trusting professional relationship with you where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I aim to really know you, helping you to see your strengths and areas for growth in a supportive environment.

I earned my masters degree in counseling from The George Washington University. Afterwards, I completed a year-long training course in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Washington School of Psychiatry. I’m interested in helping people understand the origin of their thoughts and feelings and develop tools to make their lives better.

In addition to my work in private practice, I have 15 years experience working as a school counselor with individuals ages 5-18 both in the public & private school settings. I have taught high school courses in sports psychology, helping student athletes reach their fullest potential through learning skills in improving their ability to stay calm under pressure, fostering a positive mindset, building team cohesion, etc. Students learn these skills through experientially through meditation, yoga, visualization, cognitive exercises, etc.

Your Therapist Team

To help support clients as best as I can, I consult confidentially with a team of three other therapists every week. We call ourselves “Your Therapist Team.” We discuss issues related to client care, gaining wisdom from each other’s areas of expertise. As a result, I am continually becoming a better therapist and the support I can give is continually getting stronger. Meet the additional members of your team:
